Board Positions

Current Board Positions and Position Descriptions

GWLL Board Members are critical to the success of the kids and to the league. The league could not operate without the volunteer Board. Board members are elected annually (in June) with their term running from Oct 1 through Sept 30th of the following year.

The GWLL Board aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides a high-quality experience, in which every athlete:

  • Is coached using the principles of the National Little League Organization.
    • Has fun playing the game.
    • Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance.
    • Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field.
    • Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a player.

We are committed to creating a culture in which coaches, parents, fans, umpires and athletes work together to achieve our mission.
